One day I picked up my daughter, Mackenzie, from school. Instead of taking her straight home, I took her to my her favorite place, Dunkin Donuts. She would get a donut and I would get an iced coffee.
The drive thru line is moving veeeeery sloooowly. I look inside and it appears there is only 1 person working. I mention this to Mackenzie. After a few more minutes of waiting in line, she says….
She has such a heart for others! It was a proud dad moment.
The take aways?
What are some ways you have found having a heart for others can make an impact in someone’s life or in an organzation?
PS – The donuts and coffee were good. Kudos (and a tip given) to the lonely Dunkin Donuts worker.
